Dear colleagues and guests,
On behalf of Lithuanian Ophthalmological Society it is great pleasure to invite you to take part in the XIII Forum Ophthalmologicum Balticum to be held on August 20th-22nd, 2010, in Vilnius, Lithuania.
The Forum will focus on the most relevant topics and issues of ophthalmology and will cover cataract, corneal and retinal diseases, pediatric ophthalmology, optics and refraction and other interesting topics. The preparations for the scientific program are already under way and it will be excellent possibility to share ideas, experience and achievements, also to have great time together, meeting colleagues and friends.
Vilnius, the historical capital of Lithuania is dating back to 14th century and has the most beautiful and the largest old town awarded with the status of World cultural heritage by UNESCO, with Vilnius university being the oldest in Eastern Europe. It is rapidly expanding as a modern European capital, so you can experience the harmony of the old and the new Vilnius. For the participants of the Forum this will provide beautiful atmosphere and the mood for work and friendship.
